Roscrea Golf Club was founded in 1892 & was originally a 9-hole parkland course.

An additional 40 acres of land were purchased and Kerry's Dr. Arthur Spring was commissioned to design an 18-hole course of championship standard.
This he did to perfection, with sand based greens built to the highest internationally approved standards.

 

 

The new 18-hole course was completed in time for the centenary in 1992.
